The Aged Care Grants Program runs twice a year, with individual grants valued up to $200,000 (plus GST) for a maximum of one year, with a 20% cash contribution required. Priorities for Round 1 are dementia care, restorative care and rehabilitation, and urgent and critical need. For subsequent rounds in 2022, social isolation and mental health and wellbeing will be added.
The role of a grant reviewer is to read the project proposal and critically assess the project against the key criteria.
We need reviewers who have experience in research and/or grant reviewing with a background and understanding of aged care service delivery. For 2022 knowledge and expertise in relation to Dementia Care; Rehabilitation, Reablement & Restorative Care; Mental Health & Wellbeing; Social Isolation and Urgent & Critical Need will be especially welcomed.
If you are selected as a grant reviewer, you will be matched according to your area of expertise and provided with guidelines on how to review and assess the applications and the information that we need to help make funding decisions.
