We have much to celebrate at ARIIA this week. With our August 5 launch, we’re excited for this opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas with the aged care sector about how to improve and strengthen our workforce capability.

Also, we would like to extend a warm welcome to the new Innovators joining us for the Round 2 of the Innovator Training Program. Over the coming weeks, our Innovators will complete online learning modules to aid them in defining their problem and developing an evidence-based solution. Their independent learning will be supported by our Innovation Managers and Research Fellows throughout the 10 weeks with workshops and one-on-ones to help them develop a project plan that aims to improve a specific area of aged care.
Our Innovation Managers have been very busy over the last five weeks facilitating the Aged Care Partnering Program. We’re grateful for the active participation of our Innovators, Sponsors and Partner Organisations who have spearheaded the development of five new project grant submissions across four organisations. These will be considered along with applications from external organisations for funding in the competitive grant round.
Most recently Round 1 of our Grant Applications closed, so thanks to those who made a submission. We are excited to award funding later this year and see how these projects make a positive impact to the aged care sector. Our next round of Grant Applications opens this month!
