Learn about caregiving, incontinence and dementia
Ever wanted to know how to support a person with dementia to maintain optimal independence with bladder and bowel control?
- When to provide toileting assistance
- How to respond to an episode of incontinence
- What resources are available
- How to manage emotions
With guidance from family and professional carers of people living with dementia and funding from the Dementia Centre for Research Collaboration, researchers at the National Ageing Research Institute proudly announce the release of a new free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Caregiving, Dementia and Incontinence.
This is what one of the previous learners had to say:
"The course as a whole was great, I learnt a lot in the weeks with the course. I would recommend other people to take this course as you will learn a lot. It will help anyone who is interested in learning more about dementia and incontinence and help you to care for the Individual who you care for."
DON’T MISS OUT: Course evaluation open until 19 December 2022
