Delivery Models

The Innovator Training Program is delivered via a series of self-directed learning modules, facilitated workshops and small group project discussions with ARIIA staff. We offer several different delivery models to suit your situation.

There are four models of delivery, providing a flexible range of options to suit the varied needs of staffing availability and organisation requirements in the aged care sector.

The overall time commitment is the equivalent of three weeks full time, and each delivery model is comprised of the same module and workshop content, with the same commitment from Facilitators, but structured in four different ways.

Upon application to the Innovator Training Program, you will be asked to select your first two preferences for delivery model, which we will endeavor to meet where possible.

These four delivery options are outlined in more detail below.

TAILORED PROGRAM DELIVERY | Customised to your organisation.

The Innovator Training Program can be completely tailored to your organisation’s training needs, creating a bespoke delivery model for between 8 and 10 Innovators from one organisation.

The education schedule can be tailored to your staff availability, comprising any combination of the outlined 5-week or 10-week delivery models.

The Tailored Inhouse program will work with your Innovators on a single project, finding an evidence-based solution which can then be implemented simultaneously across multiple sites.

Innovators will undertake the following:

  • Facilitated completion of training modules (approximately 40 hours total) in parallel to completion of their Innovator Training Program Journal
  • Draft their Project Plan together, with intensive support and discussion between their Facilitator and Sponsor(s)
  • They will conclude with a practice Project Pitch in the final week, tailoring their pitch to various organisational stakeholders.

Please contact itp@ariia.org.au to discuss how we can tailor the Innovator Training Program to your organisation.
