A shortcut to reviews on aged care topics
Systematic reviews attempt to summarise as much of the available knowledge on a particular topic as possible. For this reason, they are considered one of the strongest sources of evidence on which to introduce a new practice or change an old one in health or social care settings. To earn the title ‘systematic review’, review authors must follow a strict method and report it clearly so that anyone can replicate their process. They must also provide an assessment of the quality of each of the studies included in their review.
The ARIIA Knowledge Hub tracks and presents systematic reviews relevant to aged care in this one collection for easy access by the aged care workforce. Reviews are arranged by the most recently published first. Links going to the full-text article are provided, where the article is freely available. Otherwise, links go to the PubMed citation for each review. The collection is updated at the start of each month. Read more about review collection methods.
