Guiding Principles

Our Guiding Principles define what we value and what we believe. They set the expectations that drive our culture and performance as we bring together the right people to translate research into practice to develop workforce capability to make a real and meaningful change to the aged care sector.

Integrity & Independence

We are led by industry, for the industry, and are dedicated to ensuring the needs of the sector are always heard. Our independence is critical to ensuring trust with everyone we engage with and affirming a position of integrity and respect by and for the sector as a whole.

Inclusion & Diversity

Our commitment to inclusion and diversity is embedded in everything we do. It is an assurance that every person, group, and community has a voice for improvements in aged care, and that we will continue to respond to the needs of Senior Australians into the future.

Innovation & Technology

New ideas, ways of working, and technology will drive sector improvement. We continuously support and facilitate evidence-based adoption, adaptation, and contextualisation of innovative solutions to continuously progress sector capabilities and achieve excellence in aged care ongoing.

Collaboration & Engagement

Building collaborative partnerships and working relationships is integral to achieving our goals. We actively engage with the aged care sector, the community, researchers, and industry to co-design and co-produce innovative solutions that respond to the real needs of the sector.
