As the Digital Marketing & Communications Officer, Olivia is responsible for sharing ARIIA’s exciting projects, activities, partnerships and success stories. With a decade of marketing experience and a background in graphic design and communications, Olivia works with ARIIA team members to collect, create, optimise and share digital content while building an engaged online community.

Nicky is a Research Fellow in ARIIA’s Workforce Capacity and Capability team. Her role links research to practice for innovative projects, implementation and evaluation frameworks. With over 20 years’ clinical and management experience in Health and Aged Care, Nicky’s research interests are evidence-informed service delivery, inter-agency collaboration and co-design. Nicky is passionate about person centredness for living and ageing well.

Dr Rebecca Bilton, a Senior Research Fellow, leads the Workforce Capacity and Capability to deliver ARIIA’s Innovator Training Program and Innovator Network. She brings expertise in developing collaborative research partnerships and the management of large local, state-wide and national research translation projects in the aged care sector to improve care.

Stephanie Champion is a Research Fellow and Facilitator for the Innovator Training Program (ITP). Her research interests involve finding digital solutions to improve health and wellness for older population, deliver personalised care and support healthy ageing for independently living older Australians. Currently, Stephanie is working to evaluate the impact of the ITP on Innovators and their organisations.

Julie is a qualified trainer and assessor, an experienced facilitator and speaker. She has worked in project and organisation management, workforce and business development, plus service development and delivery across the services sector including aged care and disability, working closely with local government, industry providers, and the community on projects requiring stakeholder consultation, engagement and training.

As a successful creative professional with 30+ years’ experience directing high-impact PR, media, marketing, and communications initiatives, Chris leads the development and implementation of innovative marketing and communication strategies and activities to build brand awareness of ARIIA and its role in shaping the future of aged care.

Dr Raechel Damarell is the Senior Research Fellow for ARIIA’s Knowledge and Implementation Hub. Her role involves locating and translating the research evidence of what works in aged care so that the sector’s workforce might more readily find it and use it to improve the lives of older Australians.

Dr Carol Davy is an accomplished senior level director with a track record of successful strategic and tactical leadership. Carol has extensive experience in research, designing and implementing innovative solutions to challenges faced by the aged and health care sectors.

Kylie Dixon works with the Knowledge Hub and delivers marketing communications campaigns including social media. She began her working career at Flinders University with the Primary Health Care Research and Information Service managing their online presence and digital content.

PhD

Janine is a Research Fellow in the Knowledge and Implementation Hub (KIH) and a research methodologist and health service researcher with extensive experience in evidence generation and synthesis, particularly in clinical guidelines and different types of reviews. She is applying these skills in producing evidence-based information for the aged-care sector.

Anastasia provides support to the Operations Team. She has extensive experience in management within the medical field. Over the past 30 years she has held roles in State and Federal Government, public and private hospitals, pharmaceutical, private Insurance, medical practices and education.

As the Knowledge and Implementation Hub Administration Officer, Robyn brings extensive experience from many years working within the health industry with roles with SA Health, home healthcare providers and the pharmaceutical industry.  She is a skilled office co-ordinator with a particular interest in project management, collaboration and engagement.

Claire is an experienced physiotherapist with a background in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation. She has a passion for working with older people and combining progressive technologies to promote independence and community participation. Claire is driven to improve the care and quality of life of older people and has a Postdoctoral research fellowship with ARIIA’s Knowledge and Implementation Hub.

As the Workstream Coordinator for the Workforce Capacity and Capability team I am responsible for coordinating the Innovator Training Program. She has over 10 years' experience in the Aged Care sector with a particular interest in Human Resources, Workforce Management and Person-Centred Care.

Dr Amy Marshall is Postdoctoral Research Fellow at ARIIA, with 15 years of experience conducting research in nursing, aged care, health systems and disability. Amy has extensive experience using qualitative methods and co-design principles, working with community members, clinicians, service management and community organisations.

Lynda is the Program Manager for the Aged Care Partnering Program and has a background of program and project management across health, not for profit and state government.

Liana is an Innovation Manager with over 16 years’ experience across home care, community and residential services as a manager and Physiotherapist, leading teams within not for profit, government and private organisations across a range of government-funded and private services. Her aim is to improve the lives of older people and ensure the sustainability of the sector.

Lenore is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in ARIIA’s Aged Care Partnering Program. Her role links research to practice for innovative projects and advises on implementation and evaluation frameworks. With 15 years’ experience in Aged Care, Lenore’s research interests are implementation, and best-practice dementia and trauma-informed care, and co-design.

Paul is an Information Specialist within the Knowledge and Implementation Hub (KIH) and has professional skills in research, information and aged care, both in Australian and the UK. He is driven by the desire to enable individuals a voice in service delivery and has co-designed numerous programmes with older people. 

Irene is the Digital Content Officer for Ariia and brings over 20 years of experience in digital content management of websites and social media platforms from local and state government. She is also an accomplished photographer and artist.

In her role as Administration Officer, Holly supports the Workforce Capability and Capacity workstream to deliver ARIIA’s Innovator Training Program and Innovator Network. Holly brings to her role extensive experience in administration, operations and human resource management, with a particular interest in optimising efficiencies, organisational engagement, and inclusivity.

With two decades experience leading innovation and co-design across residential care, retirement living and community services, plus qualifications in Health Sciences, Education, Gerontology and Music, Fiona has particular interest in technology, social connection, and the Arts. As Innovation Manager her focus is person-centred innovation and design which enables older people to thrive.

Bethany is a research fellow within the Knowledge Hub. Bethany’s role involves synthesising research knowledge and compiling resources for use by the aged care sector. Bethany’s background is in psychology. Her PhD thesis focused on awareness of ageing and implications for goal adjustment and wellbeing in midlife and older adulthood.

Alice is a Research Fellow ARIIA. Her role involves supporting aged care organisations to develop and test evidence-based innovations to improve practice and outcomes for older people. Alice has experience as a researcher and project manager in primary health care, population health and aged care. She is passionate about evidence-informed policy and practice, and health equity.

As the digital content officer for ARIIA, Eric works closely with researchers and the marketing team to bring the best user online experience through web technologies and systems. His expertise includes project management, website design, search engine optimisation, web accessibility, interactive content creation and data reporting. He likes to use his data analysis skills to find answers and solve issues. Eric has worked in Information technology, finance and education sectors.

Antonia is a Digital Content Officer specialising in content collection, creation, project management and systems coordination. She draws on her experience in the creative arts to build and manage teams of collaborators. In this way, consumers and stakeholders are delivered engaging and informative content.
