This is a progress report regarding the wellness and reablement services implemented in Victoria and the key areas explored.

This Briefing draws on both Australian and international evidence to provide guidance for community care practitioners in their day-to-day work with older people. It focuses, in particular, on time-limited interventions that help older people ‘get back on their feet’.

The Royal Commission recognised that considerable work needed to be undertaken before the implementation of a new aged care program. This paper describes the proposed design for the Support at Home Program to be implemented in 2023.
